Today's Lotus Notes 7 "sneak peak" feature will help you manage the size of your mail file by cleaning up old calendar entries automatically.    From any calendar view, you choose "Calendar Cleanup..." from the Tools menu.



This brings up the "Calendar Cleanup" dialog box.    Here you can choose to either delete entries before a certain range, or before a certain date.   You can also choose to remove calendar entries, to dos, or both.
