Gmail Beta Labs adds a decade old Notes feature

Gmail Labs has just added "Send & Archive", which allows you to send a response to an email, and place it in your All Mail view with one click.

This is a welcome feature, and I am not complaining, but Lotus Notes has had "Send and File" for like ever!

And with Lotus Notes, this is not limited to just replies, and is not limited to just placing the email in the All Documents view.


BTW, when your product has been in beta for 4 years, do you really need a "labs" version for "testing ground for experimental features"?
