Have you ever wanted to generate a map to one of the contacts in your Personal Address Book?    I added some simple code to my Contact form, that opens up a Google Map of the address.

To add this to your own Personal Address Book (names.nsf) download this database googlemapinstaller.nsf
.

If you are using Lotus Notes 6.5 or greater, I've automated the install for you.  All you have to do is open the database and click in the install button shown below.

If you are using an older release of Lotus Notes and you have Domino Designer installed, you can manually replace the current "Contact" form in your names.nsf with the new one in the attachment above.

When you are done you should see the new link "Google Map This Address" when you open a Contact document in your Personal Address Book.

Please provide feedback and ideas for improvement.  (even better provide code!)

Note 1: If you have previously made other design changes to the Contact form, they will be replaced.
Note 2: There is nothing in the actual "Map This Address" link that requires Notes 6.5 or greater, only the automated install requires it.
Note 3: This is not doing anything advanced like using the Google API, I am simply sending a formatted URL to the browser.
