Hopefully My Birthday Can Help Others This Year
It has been a pretty interesting last 365 rotations around the sun (updated: silly me at midnight getting rotations around the sun, and the moon's rotations around the earth confused!). I moved countries, and bought my first home. I've sadly seen people I loved pass away, and joyously celebrated as some little ones entered this world. My life is a good one. I have an amazing family, great friends, I'm healthy, I have a wonderful job, and a cool place to live. Sure, there are a few things I wish were different in my life, but I know those things will come.
So what do I want for my birthday? This year, I want to help others. In the past, I've contributed to several causes on behalf of other people, but I've not been the catalyst for fund raising myself. When I learned about Charity Water's September campaign from one of Ross's Tweets, I decided to do what I can to raise money and awareness for this great cause.
So if you'd like to do something for my birthday (or for whatever reason you'd like) I'd appreciate it if you could donate to My Charity Water Campaign. If not money, then how about a blog post or Tweet? It will only take a moment, and raising awareness is just as important as raising money.
Thank you for everything. For reading this blog. For following me on Twitter. For being my friends. I hope the next 365 are filled with great things for everyone.
He had 700 people come to his birthday party? Wow.
