The Lotus Notes Month/Date Picker, has 5 different features you may use for navigating between dates:

1. Click on one of the dates currently displayed in the main section of the Picker to have the calendar display change to that date. (or the week/month view that contains the date you selected)
2. You can click on either of the arrows in the top corners to move to the previous or next month.
3. & 4. Starting with Notes 6, if you click on the name of the month, you get a drop down list of the other months to choose from. Similarly, if you click on the year you can choose from a range of past and future years.
5. You can click on "Today" to reset the date displayed to the current date.
