In the last tip Navigating Your Notes Calendar Part 1, the features of the Notes Calendar's Day/Month/Year Picker were explained.   In this tip I'll explain how you can change dates quickly using the scroll bars below and beside the various Notes Calendar views.

At the bottom of the Day and Week calendar views you will see a horizontal scroll bar.  If you click on the square in the middle of the bar it will show you the first date for the current view.

You can drag the square left or right to move to a previous or future date.

At the sides of the horizontal scroll bar there are left Image:Navigating Your Notes Calendar - Part 2 and right Image:Navigating Your Notes Calendar - Part 2 arrows.  Clicking on either of these will move the calendar backward or forward by the appropriate increment.  (day or week)

Just above the horizontal scroll bar information is displayed showing what date/week/month of the year it is, and how many days/weeks/months are left in the year.

Navigating around the Month views is very similar to the Day/Week views.   However, instead of having a horizontal scroll bar there is a vertical scroll bar that you can use to adjust the displayed month.

At the top and bottom of the vertical scroll bar there are up Image:Navigating Your Notes Calendar - Part 2 and down Image:Navigating Your Notes Calendar - Part 2 arrows.   These behave a bit differently than the left and right arrows do in the Day/Week views.  Rather than jumping to the previous or next month, instead the Month view will "roll" either backwards or forward in one week increments.  The allows you to see two months "overlap" in a single view instead of having to go back and forth between the two.
