I drove by this field of yellow dandelions that seemed to go on forever. Sadly I did not have my good camera with me, but at least I could snap a shot with my phone to preserve the memory. (in low res)

You're kidding, it's Monet :-P
JYR
It does have a cool Monet look caused by the blurring while I drove by.
I was about to say the same thing that JYR said... it looks like Monet or Van Gogh or any other impressionist artist... beautiful!
Its actually a real photo, from my Blackberry, driving by with my roof down. It was a gorgeous field, went on and on and on. I wanted to get out and run around in it!
Indeed, you never know what you might capture when you never leave home without your camera ;-O
Maybe it's a picture of a painting? The file info sez Alan used his Blackberry.
I also thought it was a painting when I first saw it but have had the same thing happen when using my BlackBerry camera. Very lovely picture. I can imagine how beautiful it was in person.
I usually carry a small camera with me everywhere I go just for moments like this.
That's amazing. You should submit it to a photography magazine.
There's a painting genre called "hyper-realism" that looks like a high-res photograph. You've just created the reverse.
I agree with JYR, it have to be a Monet! Beautiful capture!
I still think it's a fake picture :))
Alan, I agree, it is too good to be real. I did set is as my background and it looks great. The combo of cloudscape (I love them) and the rest is too good. Being ignorant of art, this has just got to be a con ;_) but thanks!!
Michae, thanks for the comments. I swear this was real, just me sitting in traffic in my car coming home from a cottage. I wish I had known it was going to be such a hit. I just wish I had a larger (maybe 1280*1024) version of it.
