New Battery

After calling all the Apple Stores, Best Buys, and a dozen other stores, I finally found a new MacBook Pro battery at a pro-photography store.

My old battery had 250 cycles, and was holding 50-60%.  

Here's the new one...

    Hi Alan

    interesting as Apple is marketing their new battery technology which should provide an improved behavior over the time : better management for charging; hence life duration, extended battery power to keep macbook running up to 7 hours (13" and 15")

    My Macbook Pro is from 2008, not one of the new ones with the new battery they are advertising.

    My 2008 MBP had weakened noticeably, was still under applecare so I took it to the local apple store and they swapped in a new battery at no charge in about 5 minutes.

    @4, yes in hindsight, I should have purchased Applecare.
