Notes 7 introduces two new features designed to help you manage the windows tabs for open views and documents.

The first, "Close All Window Tabs" does exactly what its name implies.  You can either click the new toolbar icon Image:New Window Tab Options in Notes 7, or choose "File - Close All Open Window Tabs" from the Notes menus.  If you are editing a document and it is not currently saved, you will be prompted to save it.

There is a warning dialog box that helps ensure that you wanted to close all the windows.   You can disable this warning if you don't want to display it again in the future.

The second feature is "Save Window State".  This allows you to close your Notes client, and have all the window tabs which were open be automatically re-opened for you the next time you start Notes.   Essentially you'll be right back to where you were when you exited!

You enable this via "File - Preferences - User Preferences", and clicking on "Save window state on exit".

What if you don't want Notes to do this each time you shut down the client, but you occasionally find that it would be very useful "just this one time"?

For example, imagine you are editing 3 or 4 different documents and you suddenly realize you are late and have to get home.  Instead of manually finding each of the documents the next day, you can instead choose "File - Save Window State" from the Notes menus.  When you restart Notes, all the previously open window tabs will be automatically opened for you.

One caveat to this, it is not a "one time" action.  You need to clear the "last state" or else the same window tabs will be re-opened the next time you start Notes.  To do this simply choose "File - Clear Saved Window State".
