Did you ever want to share the information
on your calendar with someone else, but were not sure how? Well
read on and learn about "Print calendar to a document". I'm
excited about today's tip, as it is one of those real "hidden gems"
that not a lot of Notes users know about.
While viewing your Notes Calendar, choose Print from either the Notes menus, the toolbar icon, or CTRL+P keyboard shortcut. In the resulting Print dialog box there is a section called "What to Print", with an option labelled "Print calendar to a document". After selecting that option, you can choose from three different calendar styles; Weekly, Monthly, and Calendar List. Each style has its own specific options as shown below.
Weekly Style: By default the print range if for the week containing the day you had selected when you choose Print, but you can change it to any week you would like. The Print Settings section allows you to choose several different options to be added to the resulting "calendar document" such as "3-Month header" and Location.

Monthly Style: By default the print range is for the month containing the day you had selected when you choose Print, but you can change it to any month you would like. The Print Settings section allows you to choose the font size and a few other options.

Calendar List: By default the print range will correspond to the calendar style you had selected when you choose Print. For example if you were in the One Day view in your calendar, the default print range will be just for that day. If you were in the Two Day, One Week, Two Weeks, or One Month view the default print range will reflect the days displayed in that view.

Now, at the bottom of the dialog box press "Preview". Instead of sending information to the printer, a Notes document is created with the information about your calendar entries! You can now Print this document, or Forward it to someone via email.

a) "Calendar List" style with "3-Month header"
b) "Monthly Style" using medium fonts
Since the information from your calendar is now copied into a Notes document, you can modify it however you would like. You can remove a few lines if you don't want the recipient to see a certain entry. You can highlight, bold, or change the colour of an entry you want to stand out. You can add additional text explaining what a certain meeting is about. You can store the documents in a database. I think you get the point...
I'm the first to admit IBM did a good job of "hiding" such a powerful feature, but hey, that's why I'm here telling you about these things right? I strongly suggest you try out all three styles, and experiment with the options available for each.
