Was that email sent to me?

I've decided that Friday's are going to be "Notes 7 Feature Days" on my blog.   Hopefully by sharing some of the cool new things coming up in the Notes 7 client, I can help you and your company make the decision to upgrade as soon as possible!

Today's Notes 7 feature is called Recipient Message Marking.  What this feature does is enable a visual display in your in-box indicating if you were in the To or CC field, and how deep in that field.

Below is an example where the solid circles indicate emails sent just to me; the half shaded circle (or half empty for you pessimists out there!) indicates that I am one of the first five people listed in the To field, and the empty circle indicates I was either in the To field but further in the list of names than one of the first five, or I was in the CC list.

To configure this you select "Tools - Preferences" in your mail file, then switch to the "Mail - Message Marking - Recipients" tab.   Here you can enable/disable the various indicators, choose how many names to search in the To field, and even configure additional email addresses that you want the indicators to work for.
